Dubai Crisis – All you need to know

What is Dubai Crisis

UAE’s largest corporation, Dubai World Conglomerate has asked for agreement for 6 months delay

in repayment on it’s close to sixty million dollars of debt. Default by Dubai on payment of the debt could trigger

off the next set of bankruptcies, and since Dubai is well connected to other financial centers of the world it

could easily boil over into something huge. As it is the festival of Id , no information is forthcoming which is making the

whole financial world fidgety.

What is the reason of this crisis

Dubai real estate, fuelled by cheap loans and inflow of foerign invesments created a bubble over

the last five years. Now home prices in Dubai have plummetted to 60% their peak value in 2008.

On this note, yesterday on a TV channel one analyst was seen remarking that Dubai crisis will fuel

Indian real estate market. Well is the existing bubble in Indian real estate market not sufficient ???

Why it affects India and other parts of the world

Do you remember what was the starting point of 2008 crisis ? Iceland debt crisis.

Dubai firms have huge real estate investments in major cities around the world. There is huge

Indian population in Dubai. Any trouble will start off a huge unwinding in real estate, which will

drive the asset values even lower across the globe thus signalling the end of any recovery from

the recent recession.

What next ?

There are talks that Abu Dhabhi, which is rich in oil, and which continues to enjoy

a real estate boom and is financially strong, will bail out Dubai. However due to holy festival

of Id, no information is forthcoming .

What should we do ?

As investors, we should watch for information coming out of ther region.

Avoid making decisions based on TV analysts. Always make your own decisions to buy and sell.

If a crash happens, look for value stocks which have strong fundamentals.

If crash doesnt happen, look for growth stocks and new oppurtinites stocks.

Always remember, every stock has an intrinisic value, which will be visted repeatedly ,

as the market makes its waves.

Stock Market Today 26-November-2009 Nifty Outlook, Expiry

RECAP

Readers would have made reasonable money in nifty future long as it moved to

second target of long. As expected it traded in a narrow range yesterday. But

our long level captured all but 15 points of the narrow range. On the other hand STER,

traded mostly above 865, thereby ruling out the short trade. Readers who went short in HDIL

based on the levels given would have minted the almighty dollar as it fell from 339.50(340 was

the short level) to 316 in a straight line. More than 17,0000 rupees on a single lot.

Nifty

Long Level

Buy nifty future at 5098 with stop loss at 5080 for targets 5125, 5150, 5180.

Short Level

Trading below 5080 with volumes nifty may move to 5028 and 5000.

There are no Bank Nifty Levels.

There are no stock recommendations, being expiry day.

Stock Market Today 25 November 2009, Nifty Outlook and Sterlite trading idea

RECAP

Nifty made low spot on at 5050 which coincidentally happened to be our buy level.

Readers would have minted the almighty dollar as it rocketed to first target.

Although HDIL broke 336, it did not retrace to our short level.

It is important to note here, as many readers might have observed, how nifty is panicking near our

weekly pivot level of 5090.

Nifty

Short Level

Nifty future breaking 5070 short with stop loss at 5095 for targets 5035, 5007, 4985.

Long Level

Trading above 5095 with volumes nifty future can move to 5120 and 5135.

Sterlite Industries (STER)

Sterlite is looking weak on charts. 865 will be critical level for STER tomorrow.

If sterlite is unable to trade above 865 with volumes, it becomes a short with stop loss at 872

for targets 841, 827, 816.

There are no trading levels for BNF tomorrow.

Stock Market Today 24 November 2009 – Trading Nifty, Bank Nifty and Stocks

RECAP

Both nifty and sterlite did not trigger trading levels yesterday.

But Bank nifty gave a beautiful short oppurtunity right at opening bell

and fell to PIVOT level, a neat profit of more than 120 points per lot.

NIFTY

Long Level

Buy nifty future at 5050 with stop loss of 5020 for target 5100, 5135, 5170

Short Level

Short .nifty future at 5170 with 5200 as stop loss for targets 5125, 5100, 5070

HDIL

HDIL future breaking 336, short on retracement to 340 with 344 as stop loss for targets 328, 318.

Nifty Weekly Outlook

Weekly Nifty Outlook

The key level to watch on nifty this week will be 5090.

Trading above this level, nifty will scale the heights of 5125, 5160 and 5280.

However if nifty is unable to sustain 5090 , bears will slaughter nifty to the extent of 4895, 4825 and 4750 this week.

HDIL

HDIL looks the most interesting stock to trade next week.

Stock Market Today – RECAP

A great trader is someone who waits and waits like a tiger and makes a killing

at the right time — Someone Wise.

Last 3 days we waited and waited and today we went for the kill just lke the

hungry tiger in question.

Readers of the blog would have printed out the almighty dollar in nifty short

as it fell to second target of short.

Those who traded the short recommendation of STERLITE would have been richer

by twenty thousand rupees minimum even with one lot of STER.

Those who followed me on twitter and those who remembered my 901 level on LIC Housing

would have printed out the almighty dollar as it fell to 848. If you remember, my one and only target

Over the oceans, Dow Jones is struggling to cross the Ultimate Fibonacci zone of 10420 – 10500.

Stock Market Today – Trading ideas for nifty, bank nifty and indian stocks

Nifty Future

Nifty future breaking 5033 short with 5057 as stop loss for targets 4985, 4960, 4940.

After triggering short, if nifty crosses 5057, nifty will move to 5100 and 5130.

STERLITE

Short STER future at 871.70 with stop loss at 879 for targets 852, 844, 832.

Crossing 879 stock will move to 885 and 891.
